About Siwa
Khareef (Autumn) is a multilingual script, a contemporary Grotesk typeface, the Arabic letterforms are inspired by the traditional Kufic script, reimagined with modern sensibilities — It brings together generous curves, structured geometry, and playful detailing to create a dynamic yet balanced visual identity. Designed with a solid geometric backbone, Khareef gracefully bridges Arabic and Latin scripts, offering both clarity and character.
Khareef expresses a tension between compressed and wide shapes, blending full-rounded forms with more compact glyphs. This contrast injects a distinct rhythm and energy into the design. Every letterform is carefully crafted for legibility, especially in heavier weights, while stylistic alternates add personality without sacrificing functionality.
Khareef perfectly works in headlines and short text. Ideal for contemporary designs, impactful branding, and digital layouts, it offers versatility across a range of applications.
Available in nine static weights, Khareef also comes as a 2-axis variable font (weight and width axes) when ordering the full family. It supports Arabic, Latin, Kurdish, Persian, and Urdu, covering over 90 languages.
